本学は胆振地域にありますが、この度の地震におきましては、幸いにも大きな被害は

ありませんでした。

　今後の対応については、次のとおりお知らせいたします。

 

〇本学の学生及び保護者の皆様へ(To Students and their families)

　・大学祭について

　　　9月22日(土)・23日(日)の2日間で開催予定の本学大学祭については、予定どおり開催

　　します。     

　　　大学祭では、このたびの地震発生を受け、日本赤十字社が行う「平成30年北海道胆振東

　　部地震災害義援金」への募金活動を実施しますので、ご来場の皆様のご協力をよろしくお

　　願します。

　　　なお、揺れの大きかった地域では今般の地震により大きな被害が多数発生している状況

　　ですので、学生の皆さんは節度をもって行動してください。

 

　(MuroranIT Festival)

　　　The MuroranIT festival will be held from Sep. 22 (Sat.) to Sep. 23 (Sun.) as

         previously planned.

　　　During the university festival, we conduct a fund-raising activity, initiated by

         the Japanese Red Cross Society, for 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake

         Disaster and look forward to the considerate cooperation from visitors in this

         regard.

         In addition, please keep in mind that students should behave themselves as

         many people heavily affected by the earthquake are still suffering from

         casualties and damage.

 

　・後期の授業について

　　　今般の地震による講義室等への大きな被害はなかったことから、後期の授業については

      予定どおり開講します。

　　　北海道胆振東部地震の災害救助法適用地域にお住まいの学生本人または家計支持者が被害に

      遭われた場合、貸与型奨学金の緊急・応急採用に申し込むことができます。詳細については

      学務課学生支援係　tel. 0143-46-5130, 5129, 5124へお尋ねください。

　　　なお、奨学金申込時には罹災証明書が必要です。

 

　 【JASSO Urgent Loan-type Scholarship】

　　　If you or your family supporter residing in the Disaster Aid Law designated area

　　　is harshly damaged by the earthquake, you can apply for an urgent loan-type

　　　scholarship at JASSO. For more details, please contact the Student Support

　　　Section in the Academic Affairs Department at 0143-46-5130, 5129, 5124.

　　　Please note that an Affliction Certificate is required for this application.

 

　【授業料免除について】

　　　北海道胆振東部地震で学生本人または家計支持者が被害に遭われて、授業料減免を受けようと

      する場合、被災証明書、被災金額を証明できる書類、保険金・損害賠償等で補填された金額の証

      明書が必要です。

　　　なお、被災金額を証明できる書類がない場合は、まずは被災証明書のみ提出してください。

　　　後期分授業料免除の申請は9月27日(木)から10月5日(金)までが受付期間となっていますの

      で、何か不明な点がある場合は学務課学生支援係(連絡先は上記参照)へお尋ねください。

 

　【Exemption of Tuition Fee】

　　 　If you or your family supporter is heavily damaged by the earthquake and

　　　hope to receive a benefit of an exemption of tuition fee, you have to have the

　　　following documents ready: (1) an Affliction Certificate (issued by local government),

　　　(2) a document that shows the amount of damage, and (3) a certificate of coverage

　　　provided for damage from insurance institute or company. Please submit an Affliction

　　　Certificate first in case you do not have (2) and (3) now.As the application for the

　　　Second Semester will be going on from Sep. 27 (Thu.) to Oct. 5 (Fri.), please do not

　　　hesitate to come to the Student Support Section in the Academic Affairs Department

　　　if you have any inquiries or concerns on this issue.

 

　【北海道胆振東部地震に係るボランティア活動について 】

　　　この度の北海道胆振東部地震に係るボランティアに参加する学生については，ボランティア

　　保険加入の費用を大学で負担します。

　　　室蘭市社会福祉協議会にて保険料を入金後，学務課学生支援係で立替払の手続きを行ってくだ

　　さい（入金には３週間程度かかります）。

　【Disaster Relief Volunteer for Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake】

　　　For students who volunteer in a disaster relief for Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake,

　　　MuroranIT will bear the cost of joining the volunteer insurance. After completing a

　　　payment of insurance fee at the Muroran Council of Social Welfare, please make a

　　　refund procedure at the Student Support Section in the Academic Affairs Department

　　　(Refund will take about 3 weeks).
