Since its establishment in 2007 in response to the rapid internationalization of society, the Center's main mission has been to support and promote the international activities and international collaboration of students, faculty and staff of the University.
Specifically, the Institute is responsible for sending Japanese students abroad and promoting intercultural exchange to foster an international outlook for our students, international educational and research activities for our faculty and staff, accepting international students and researchers from an international strategic perspective and providing them with Japanese language education, supporting the studies, daily life and participation in local activities of our enrolled international students, and cooperating with local organizations in international exchange activities.
