Seniors' private lives

We will introduce you to the everyday lives of Muro Institute of Technology students, from what it's like living alone to life in the dormitory.

Men's dormitory "Meitoku-ryo"

This dormitory, which was completely renovated in 2010, is a four-story reinforced concrete building consisting of buildings A and B and an administration building, with a capacity of 363 people.

Each room is a triple-bedded room with an area of about 15 tatami mats, but each room is divided into three units, so privacy is ensured. Each unit is equipped with a desk, chair, loft bed, and bookshelf.

Lots of friends

One thing that is different from living alone is that you will always have friends around you. You can help each other with your studies, or get information about exams from your seniors.

You can also cook your own meals

There is a kitchen on each floor of the dormitory, so you can cook your own meals.
On holidays, I sometimes cook together with friends.

Fully equipped facilities

In addition to the regular rooms, Meitoku Dormitory has facilities such as a multipurpose hall and a common room. The multipurpose hall is used for various purposes such as holding dormitory festivals and for students to exercise. The common room is used for drinking parties and study sessions.

Let's have fun at the dormitory festival!!!

Every year in June, a dormitory festival is held, and many local residents come to watch it. On the first day, there is a red loincloth parade, where people wear red loincloths and parade through the town.
There will also be a ball game tournament and a project featuring celebrity guests, among other things.

Women's dormitory "Meirinkan"

This dormitory has a capacity of 51 students and consists of Building A, a four-story reinforced concrete building constructed in 2011, and Building B, a three-story reinforced concrete building expanded in 2015.

The rooms are private and are approximately 7 tatami mats in size, and each room is equipped with a toilet, bed, desk, chair, refrigerator, stove, and pipe hanger.
In addition, there are shared facilities such as a kitchen, shower room, laundry room, lounge and living room.

Since it was newly built in 2011, the rooms and facilities are very clean. Each room is equipped with a desk and a bed, and there is a shared kitchen, shower room, and laundry room. With all these facilities, studying should be easy... right?

It's located right next to the university, and the manager is on-site 24 hours a day, so you can feel safe.
