Extracurricular Activities
When you become a university student, you have a lot of free time.
It's not uncommon for classes to start in the afternoon, or for there to be days without classes, or for holidays to last for more than a month.
What you do with this time is up to you. You can do part-time work, join a club, or pursue a hobby or study!

When you become a university student, you can do many different things.
If you live alone or in a dormitory, you won't have any time constraints, so you'll be free to take up part-time jobs or participate in club activities!
Through these activities, you may also have the opportunity to interact with adults and local people.
circle

Muro Institute of Technology has a wide variety of clubs and organizations, from sports to cultural.
There are also some unique groups that are typical of Muro Tech, such as the "Eco-Run Project," which involves building fuel-efficient cars by students themselves.
By joining a club, you can have various experiences that you can only have during university life and find friends who share the same hobbies as you.
Let's do club activities!!
project
Muroran Institute of Technology provides students with the opportunity to fully demonstrate their independence and creativity.
We'd like to introduce some of the accomplishments of our seniors who are working towards their goals together with their peers!
Fly! Homemade Rocket
We design and build rockets, including "hybrid rockets" that use a mixture of solid fuel and gaseous oxidizer, and are working to win a prize at a national handmade rocket competition. We are also building "rovers," unmanned planetary exploration robots.
The best part is being able to create things together with friends who share the same interests, and actually being able to move and fly the things you've made.

Aim for it! Birdman Contest
Aiming for the Birdman Contest We are building an aircraft for the "Birdman Contest" held every summer (a competition in which homemade human-powered aircraft compete for flight distance and flight time).
While working with our beloved airplanes, we all work together towards a common goal.
