[Our University Project]
Muroran Institute of Technology has started the "Project to Support the Development of Interdisciplinary Doctoral Talent to Drive Next-Generation Innovation" this year, which is overseen by Vice President Dong Mianxiong. This project will select outstanding students in the doctoral program and provide them with living expenses and research funds during their studies, as well as financial support to support the research and self-improvement of outstanding students and support for the formation of diverse career paths. This will foster interdisciplinary talent that combines the university's top-level computer science field with various science and technology fields such as architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, and biology, and will help students acquire practical skills through long-term internships in collaboration with industry, fostering the interdisciplinary talent required for the next generation of innovation doctorates who can thrive in diverse career paths.
