Educational Objectives

Educational goals of the Master's Program

Through science and engineering education that develops the diverse talents of each student and cultivates advanced expertise in their major field as well as knowledge in related fields, we aim to develop engineers who will develop new science and technology and contribute to society.

  1. To train engineers with the ability to analyze and solve complex scientific and technological problems.
  2. We train engineers with the ability to respond to complex problems and the research capabilities to tackle them.
  3. We aim to train engineers who can think logically and have international communication skills, including in their field of expertise.

Educational goals of the doctoral program

  1. We accept students, working adults, and international students who have broad knowledge, an international perspective, and a strong sense of ethics, and who are motivated to contribute to academic creation and cultural advancement through practical research skills in science and technology, and provide an education that cultivates the diverse talents of each individual.
  2. We provide science and engineering education and research guidance to develop creative researchers and scientists who have the advanced research capabilities necessary for independent research activities or other highly specialized work, as well as basic academic knowledge in related fields.

This means:

  1. We aim to develop talented individuals who have mastered cutting-edge engineering technology and can play an active role internationally as leading researchers and scientists.
  2. We aim to train researchers and scientists who have the flexible thinking and imagination to respond to the development and diversity of science and technology, as well as the ability to collect and disseminate information internationally.
  3. To develop researchers and scientists with international communication skills.
  4. To foster researchers and scientists with high ethical standards and an international perspective.
